Continuing the design of systems characterized by horizontal symmetrical development, Pequod Acoustics has created the new Meses system, which, in terms of overall performance, is placed at the next step up from the Aliseo system. The structure is made using 3 ovoid volumes in composite material, interconnected with each other. The surfaces are obviously highly resistant.

Also for Meses, as for Aliseo, the central unit is made up of a very high-performance coaxial speaker. It is an 8” coax with a 2.5” voice coil, with an inner tweeter on axis, with a 1.75” voice coil, loaded by a horn characterized by 70° conical dispersion.

The two lateral speakers, which reproduce the low frequency, are two 8” high-performance woofers, with a 2.5” voice coil, loaded in reflex. As with Aliseo, we have paid great attention to the timbre of the system, decidedly refined to the point of making Meses an important and versatile product, suitable to become the central channel of sophisticated HT systems, or DJ monitors, as well as to sound areas where it is necessary to have audio systems characterized by reduced total height, typically in private rooms of sophisticated clubs, where Meses can be in stand alone version or, alternatively, with a subwoofer, to obtain extremely high sound pressure levels. Inside the system we find a 3-way passive crossover, typical of the uncompromising design of Pequod Acoustics. Obviously, according to our philosophy, we have managed to have refined timbre, very low perceived distortion, while having very significant expressed power values. In every situation it will be the creator of very high quality sound spaces.
